For $3 with a few tweaks you can get a quality oil filter that gets the job done. Fram companies have been trusted in the industry for many years. Personally, I use motorized transportation when I can since I drive a Ford, but when it's not available I choose to. I use full synthetic oil on my '87 Mustang and have had no problems.
