The Best of Plantar Fasciitis

I'm a chef in NYC at a very fast 3 star restaurant and I ended up catching one of the worst things a chef can get which is plantar fasciitis. Anyone who has had it knows it hurts me what I had/have Both legs. I went to therapy, they gave me injections and they told me not to get up for a few months. Telling a chef to stay away is like telling a cop they can't get their badge or gun. With plantar fasciitis you need to change a lot, one of them is the shoes you wear, for me I couldn't wear dress shoes or boots, I switched chef shoes and sneakers, after so much research I tried them and they were the best for now suited me, I'm not sure if others can or are allowed to wear this when working for pickers or line cooks, but since I'm a chef they don't bother me, but because they don't have a back they can be a problem for management. This is fortunate though as they help me so well, I also switched to Nike Air when I read that they also help with plantar fasciitis. These were the best shoes I've ever worn. Again, before you buy them for use, first let the chef or management know if you can, if they don't care, do it, you won't regret it. Also, they are non-slip, but not as good as really good chef's shoes, but good enough for a quick restaurant.

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Sad equipment
