Sooooo, the battery only lasted a few months, I would say 3-4 months for me. BUT I left the thing on for a few days in a row because then I just forgot to turn it off. I'm really surprised how long this went on. I would also use it for several hours. I use this mouse for animation, so I animate 5-8 hours a day about 5 days a week. So yes, it took a lot. It still works great with the new Daiso battery. Updated 05/12/20. I left this thing almost dayan day, it works fine. The bottom parts are coming off - small pads but works very well. Since the bottom pads have come loose, they're getting sticky, but if you wipe them off you should be fine.
