After reading all the reviews there are 2 types of people, those who have no idea what this cable is for and those who know and appreciate the quality of these cables. and use as intended. I've been building HT since the mid 90's and honestly this is one of the nicest subwoofer cables I've ever bought. They are very well made, high quality components, fit well and snugly, not too tight and not loose in any way, they have very good grips so you never have to worry about signal loss, the AY cable is also useful for automatically turning on subwoofers as it produces lower signals so your subwoofer stays active during use and does not go dormant when very low signals are being sent. I was very skeptical given the price but thanks to well written reviews I bought 2 of these so my dual subwoofer setup would have the exact same cables. I was really surprised by the quality and the fit when I installed them. They're stiffer than regular speaker cord or wire, but they're not designed for wall mounting or wall mounting. applications, but with a well-made, well-shielded cable, what would you expect? Overall they look great, work great and come at a very respectable price. The bass on my Klipschs is very tight, clean and responsive, if I didn't think they were worth it I wouldn't have bought them for almost 2k. Subwoofers that reach low frequencies of 18Hz, which is lower than the human ear can hear and there is no degradation, no reason to spend big bucks on subwoofers when they work perfectly - give them a try when you get them don't want to return it or anything but for $10 you really can't go wrong. 1 note, if you have an AVR with 2 subwoofers, buy a second one to match, you will be amazed, deeper and richer bass with no output peaks and dips, and a smooth transition, your ears will not be attracted to the subwoofer and its position, it fits just perfect, I've read that 4 is optimal, but since I went with one of the best and largest subwoofers I don't have room for 4, but it would be great to have 4 of these big baddies in my system Change receiver output cable configuration, it will need 2 female ends on the Y side, then 4 of these cables to go to each Y end, and then to each subwoofer with a male Y end. All in all these cables are worth every penny and more, you won't regret saving some money and have great cables to download, they are a win win and deserve nothing but a 5 star rating, People who either didn't buy them for the wrong purpose and blame the cable or just don't look at the actual product. Don't compare it to other 1s as price and performance are not comparable and if necessary I will buy more or other cables from MediaBridge Ultra series without hesitation. Cable. Yes I would recommend them to anyone looking for the cables they make and no none of my devices are entry level. All of the top of the line Klipsch RP Series speakers, the biggest and best of the line, sit in my living room so I wouldn't skimp on the wiring that goes into speakers worth over $3,000, yes I'm an audiophile and proud on it and one thing you should not do is skimp on speaker wire or any other signal cable that may be needed in your system and as advertised it is well above its price point in quality and form.
