I use this sediment filter in combination with an activated carbon filter in my RV's two-stage water filtration system and change it every two months, mostly depending on usage and location of water quality. When I move to a new place I test the water without filter and then with filter and what is the difference. Gives rest. Definitely saves me from buying bottled water - at least in most areas of the US Obviously YMMV in terms of how often you need to install a new filter, type and size of your system, etc. Good value for money and will buy again next year.
