I'm so glad I don't have to complain to my husband about the TV volume. Now I can put on my headphones and hear voices very clearly while allowing him to listen at his preferred volume. There is a slight time delay. I usually just turn down the volume on the TV so I can watch by myself. The setup was a bit wobbly for me. I forgot to remove the optical cable caps. At that time it was difficult to control the speaker situation with my smart TV. After a call with a Samsung representative, we found out. There are recommendations in the instructions, but each TV manufacturer has its own formula for changing the settings. Overall a good buy!
