I don't have a mustache but my goatee is about 3 inches long so I usually brush and brush it. I order this comb as it had decent reviews and I needed a new small comb. Well it came and I wasn't disappointed but it's a really small comb. That's literally the length of my index finger on my medium sized hand, including the grip and comb teeth. I can run it over my beard and it works well, but I might like it a little more if the teeth were a little deeper. So it's perfect for a mustache and a short beard, but not something I'd use on mine every day, although it will come in handy when traveling. In addition, the quality of the comb is great! Hard plastic and teeth don't move at all but are smoothly rounded at the ends so it's very comfortable to drive the Kent through the hair on your chin! Kent sells brushes in several other sizes so there is sure to be something for everyone. It works for me, as does the 113mm Kent comb that I bought separately, so I'm very happy with the purchase.
