I need these plugs for custom installation of security cameras in my home. (The pre-built cables in the box weren't long enough). I am very meticulous about my connections (in this case I soldered and heat shrunk the stranded ends as well. I applied a little Die Electric grease to the pin ends and placed them in the wet spot of the outdoor electrical box along with the video connectors. These power plugs fit snugly and with no power loss along the contact points. I will definitely use this brand of connector not only for camera mounting but also for some other 12V applications. Cable/core length is good.
