I'm really impressed with these ice boots. I was afraid that they would be difficult to put on and slippery on the sidewalk. I was wrong on both assumptions. Putting them on was quick and easy (still surprised) and they're stable on the pavement (although I doubt anyone would recommend them for that). I walk the lanes with our dog to let him off the leash from time to time and the ice in the shade is uneven. When it snows the ice is not visible and recently I fell and injured my shoulder. I ordered these ice boots to protect myself - I could easily land on my head. Now I'm wondering why I took such a risk (at all) because these spikes are so functional and easy to use. Feel free to buy them.
