Review on 🍯 Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Shampoo & Conditioner Set: Restore Extremely Dry, Brittle Hair with a 10.3 fl oz Each by Christina Ochoa

I'm usually a fan of SheaMoisture and recently switched to it after discontinuing my regular shampoo and conditioner. But WOW, the musky smell is insanely overpowering. It's definitely not an "essential oil blend". No doubt they use a synthetic flavor and it seems like they accidentally added 100 times more. Made me nauseous using it in the shower - it actually covered my entire bathroom and burned my nose. I showered this morning and used a different shampoo and conditioner and my hair STILL smells like it. I also don't think this is the most moisturizing formula. It was a bit difficult to detangle my hair in the air conditioned shower. Will come back if possible. I just can't get over the smell. I really wish they didn't use synthetic flavors. Also very disappointing is that the front of the bottle says 'organic and fair ingredients' and only one organic and fair trade ingredient - shea butter - on the back. I didn't buy it for that reason, I know that Sheamoisture's ingredients are mostly tested, but it's disappointing that they feel the need to greenwash their marketing.
