Bright, with perfect blackout, but fragile.
These bulbs are very bright and are among the few dimmable small 120v bulbs that dim perfectly with no flicker. Can't comment on durability as they're new to me, but they are very fragile. I dropped one and while it didn't take any visible damage it didn't work. I won't remove the stars because you can't drop lightbulbs on a hard floor. Also, they get very hot, but still not as hot as halogen and much brighter. So as long as they work, I don't mind the heat.
