;tldr: Like other reviewers who left low stars, the openings in our product were misaligned, making it impossible to close the bottom drawer. My husband and I spent half a day putting it together - we viewed it as a 3D puzzle and had some fun with some frustration (we knew from the reviews it would take some time to build). First, the dowels are too big for the holes, so we drove most of them in, and one even had to be sanded with a rotary tool. The instructions are good for the most part, except for a few that took a bit of thought to figure out. When we finally finished after several hours of work, we were not happy with the finished product. The bottom drawer won't close because it gets caught on the edge of the bottom rail. We tried swapping the boxes, but it was even worse (then the top part was sticking out over the edge). The drawers fit together well so it helps that all the holes on the sides have to be pre-drilled too low with some wiggle room. We're thinking of trying to sand down the top of the skin to allow the bottom drawer to close. It's a beautiful piece to be honest, but after so much work putting it together I was so disappointed that it was defective.
