First, the box is probably enough to avoid tampering or risk (if you keep it locked). Just don't expect high quality. The door on which nothing is hanging pulls when opening and closing. The brackets that the hook racks attach to are uneven, meaning if you slide the hook bracket all the way down on one end and all the way up on the other end, they still won't line up. Likewise with paper tape showing color and number. It's not level either and in my case some of them were damaged. None of this should stop you from successfully using the box. Just don't expect quality no matter what the ad says. One thing you can do I show in my photos. We added a sign (easy to find) and once installed a pair of electric knees taped to the top of the box and to the wall to complete the illusion. Depending on placement, this should be enough to deter any stranger from looking elsewhere for valuables. EDIT (5/30/19): Wow! Let me share my experience with "customer support". I wanted to buy 2 extra keys. Not knowing if my local locksmith had the correct blanks, I contacted Barskaya and requested a purchase. I had to provide more than just the item number. and key number I had to provide pictures of the invoice and the key and tell them WHY I wanted more keys. Actually, I found it a bit offensive, but maybe it was just me. After a week I received no reply. The call didn't help. (Your shop is only a few miles from my house but you have to go through the website to get the keys.) I tried again through the website (and provided everything that was asked again) and finally received an email asking for additional information. This happened 3 times before I was given permission to order, including another photo. Although the email said "Go to the link", there was none. However, I figured it out and landed on a page that showed a price of $12 and a prefilled quantity of "5". That seemed reasonable since new house keys cost $2.50, so I continued. The shock came when I wanted to pay. "$60.00" was the bill! That was more than half the price I paid for the box! Then, since I actually only needed 2 keys, I tried to change the quantity. That is not allowed. "Five (5) keys is the minimum order quantity," I notice. So you decide you want to buy a mediocre product from a company that has no idea how to provide customer support and if you lose your key you will be charged. you $60 for a new one. *** Oh, and if you bought from them I'd like you to answer one simple question. Does your key number look suspiciously like the product itself? Either they didn't even sell 1000 of these boxes or they lied to me about the uniqueness of the key. I would like to know which ones.
