Bought this set for T-handles. I've used several other cheap needle tools with plastic handles, the worst of which is shaped like a screwdriver handle. They are difficult to use. You have to push hard, which is why this set has handles that are large T-shaped tubular metal handles. The kit includes a spare needle, which is very convenient as it can break. It's worth wearing leather gloves because if something breaks, it's easy to puncture the joint. I keep this in my truck with a small pair of needle vises. They work better than pliers.
