Pure H2O high performance water filter from Watts. This thing is bigger than it looks in the picture! When they say you need 3 inches of headspace for the filter, they mean it. But even with no real plumbing experience, I had no problem installing it under the bathroom sink. The actual installation took less than 10 minutes. (Not including cleaning up all the mess underneath.) All you need are 3 simple tools and almost everyone has a sharp knife, pliers and a Phillips screwdriver. The instructions are easy to understand and include pictures for words. To be honest the hardest part was finding the easiest way to incorporate it. 2 nuts, 1 knife quick connector and all you have to do is insert the ends into the quick connectors. Turn on the water and check for leaks. Best of all, the connectors LOOK like they're leaking like crazy, but they're holding tight and not a single drop! I didn't notice any drop in pressure at all. I tested tap water, compared it with filtered water and was thrilled. We live in an area with HIGHLY chlorinated water, so much so that the water is LITERALLY green. post filter. CRYSTAL CLEAN! No smell, no unpleasant aftertaste and above all no more "swimming water smell" after showering. At the moment we only have a few hours. Exact information on the durability of the filter is not yet available. They claim the filter lasts 12 months or 10,000 US gallons. Overall I highly recommend this easy to install inline water filter with high capacity and no flow rate reduction!
