Ruler may not have shown up when reviewers said they didn't notice how small they are; but even then the ruler is inaccurate. Maybe in centimeters. not inches. I have they each measured 3/4". In fact, I am very pleased with these little stars. I have an Indian parrot who never seems used to playing with toys in his previous home, and every toy I put on his stand and put in his cage completely ignored. A couple of times lately he has briefly expressed interest in a large set of rings for my gray parrot so I was delighted when I found these little ones. In fact my ringneck stopped by to check them out as soon as I hung them up!Finally!A toy he could really enjoy!At least I hope he keeps showing interest in them.I like that they come in four separate strips, each almost a foot long - I guess. Two of the strips have metal hooks for attaching to a cage or play stand, and two of them have little bells on the ends. All stars have a very narrow slot/hole for attaching to very small rings, hooks or whatever. The plastic is transparent and reflects the light very nicely, making them slightly shiny.
