Review on Cutting Edge Power Weatherproof Connectors by Chris Sweeton

I built what is called a "solar generator" and was looking for a way to connect my solar panels to it. I used a large universal box with wheels for my generator and didn't want any other connector for my panels. I wanted to stick with the MC4 to keep cables and adapters to a minimum. This connector was the perfect solution. It's so easy to install and comes pre-wired with 10 AWG cable and quick connectors rated up to 50 amps. I just installed it on the side of the box and connected it to the solar charge controller. Now I can connect my solar panels to it with MC4 connectors directly from my panels. No additional cables need to be made or additional adapters used. The key is to minimize connections. I love this connection. It is very well made (made in the USA), durable and weatherproof. It works great and makes my design much easier to use. This plug is excellent value for money and I give it 5 stars.
