Review on 🛠️ Optimized FB25101 Wheel Well Storage by Fishbone by Dre Fishburne

Instructions do not show how to mount on a top. This is much more difficult than installing a hard top and requires drilling holes in the bracket to make it work. Here's what it took to install on my soft top. 1. Remove the soft top "frame” surrounding both doors. This is easily done by removing two T40 bolts (one of which is included in the Jeep tool kit if required) above the door frame (see image). Then simply lift the frame to remove it, revealing the front mounting hole2. Model a storage box by temporarily loosening the back screw to help you align the front holes.3. Make sure you are happy with how it fits the wheel before marking the front bracket where the index pin should be from the door frame. I used a center punch and engineering square to align and mark.4. Remove the storage case and drill a 1/2 inch hole to allow the index pin to go through the bracket, see pictures. Make sure you paint the newly exposed metal to keep it from rusting. 5. Install the wheel arch. according to the instructions (hex head screw on the front and plastic knob on the back), be sure to line up the front index hole you just made before tightening the screws (see image). 6. Temporarily install the door frame that you removed in the first step, but do not install the two T40 screws that you removed from the door frame Press the frame to mark the foam underneath the door frame (see pictures) 7 .Remove the door frame and use a uni-bit (aka a Christmas tree bit) to poke a hole in the door. frame so the hex bolt can be pushed through to sit flush (see c)8. You can now mount the door frame including the two T40 bolts and repeat the steps for the other side. Overall they look good and look good. I'm taking off one star for the lack of instructions, but I'm happy with the purchase and would have given 5 stars if they had been there. I'm glad I have a way to use this wasted space.
