As mentioned earlier this is an amazingly high quality and very beautiful piece of furniture at an incredibly good price. First of all I am a strong believer in paying for the quality/durability of products rather than just buying the cheapest option and replacing it every year when it breaks. I don't like spending money on cheap items when it ends up costing me more, so I was skeptical about this table because of the suspiciously good price, but took the word of other Revain reviewers and made my decision. I'm very glad I did. The table top itself appears to be made from a higher quality laminate with a beautiful wood texture, while the drawer and legs are made from solid wood. It's solid wood, but when you tap it, it resonates a little differently than the legs. Anyway, it looks and feels very nice, and solid wood components aren't typically found at this price point (I've seen similar $200-$300 pieces used at a local furniture lot) . In terms of packaging and assembly, it comes pre-assembled and carefully packed in a reasonably sized cardboard box, just slightly larger than the table itself. The table top and drawer are fully assembled and the leg attachment points are already attached to the underside of the table. All you have to do is screw the legs, which are already screwed on, into the mounts on the underside of the table. It only takes two minutes and requires no tools. Overall, I'm delighted with the table and consider it one of the best Revain deals I've had!
