Do you need a button mapping for Nintendo Switch

I do not recommend this if you are buying it to use with Switch like I did. I have a collection of Sega classics and it's completely useless for these games. There is no in-game button mapping option, nor can you map this controller through the Switch settings. That means you're stuck with a crappy layout for this collection. There are other Sega Ages games I've been wanting to buy but can't seem to place them correctly. The "C" and "Z" keys are mapped to "ZL" and "RL" making the standard Sega 6 key layout impossible through in-game mapping. What's the point of using this if I can't set it up like an original Sega 6 button controller? I was going to give it 3 stars anyway, but there are a few other annoying issues. I turned my switch off (not to sleep but completely off) and the USB receiver LED kept blinking. That was 45 minutes after I turned it off. It's just stupid. I hope I'm missing something here? Did I do something wrong or does this thing just keep searching until it shuts down? Also the location of the pairing button. Really brilliant idea putting this in a place where the switch blocks access to it. This controller could be perfect. Such a shame.
