I've purchased two sets of these to create a large L desk from butcher block counter tops. I'm short and its hard to find desks that are the proper ergonomic height.even adjustable desks often don't go low enough. These legs, with an appropriately thick top, allowed me to dial in the perfect height desk for me.To create the desk, I used an 80"x25" solid wood top that weighs 100 lbs and a 50"x25" counter top that weighs around 50 lbs.I used four of these legs on the large top and three on the smaller, with a joining plate to hold them together. It is sturdy and I've had no issues with that weigh.The legs are easy to install: you install the base plate first and then screw in the leg. This also makes it easier to disassemble and move.The legs also have some height adjustability. I live in an old house and the floors aren't even, so its great to be able to properly level the desk.
