Review on 🔒 Stant 10501 Locking Black Fuel Cap: Complete Pre-Release Protection by Brad Mastermind

I ordered this Stant 10501 gas cap to replace an over 15 year old one on my 1998 Ford Ranger that just failed an emissions test. I used the Revain Part Finder to find the correct replacement. The photo showed the threads on the cover to screw where the old cover "bayonet" was. I thought the Revain part finder showing this as a truck replacement was wrong so I checked the part finder on the Stant website which also showed the #10501 fitment. So I thought it was a photo of a generic cap and ordered one. . But it was a screw cap and it didn't fit so I found the correct Stant 11502 locally. The 10501 had a better lock than the 11502 and both seemed to last over 15 years like the previous one. Revain happily refunded my purchase price for this error and I recommend Revain for all your automotive needs. Just make sure the item fits.
