Bought for my daughter who is interested in music and loves old records. Set up was easy although they could have done better in the hand balancing guide. There are some good videos on You Tube that will help, but they're not very good. The quality seems good, the sound is clear. I bought this high-end player because I wanted my daughter to be able to hear it well compared to cheap, retro-style players that cost around $100. In general I am satisfied with the purchase, the only thing that prevented me from giving it a 5 is that it does not have a hard cover. It comes with a cloth sleeve, but it would be (IMHO) better if it came with a plastic sleeve that lifts up and keeps dust out of the player. Hope that helps.
