It is all in the fit!
Unfortunately for me, this didn't fit me very well. I am 200lbs, 5'10, with a 38 waist. I ordered a 2xl. The Chest was slightly tight, but the abdomen too loose, which allowed the vest to ride up once in the water. Perhaps it would work better worn under an outer layer or attachment to a pair of wet suit shorts which would prevent the riding up.
- It fits well. I was worrying about the 3xl fitting my 6'5" 300 lb frame.
- May not be suitable for individuals with claustrophobia
