Materials are acceptable (not tested for water resistance), but this product has extremely poor build quality. Immediately after boxing, the stitching is misaligned and/or worn in every imaginable place. I literally had to go all over the coat with a lighter to melt any protruding threads. Even the tubes wore out like they had been brushed with a wire brush. Not only that, some stitching appears to be in need of repair before even being used. Velcro (Velcro) straps are not fastened properly so that the barbed side faces the skin, which is uncomfortable, while the thinner, looped side is exposed to vegetation, so it catches as many seeds and burrs as possible and spoils quickly. It would require minimal effort to produce a finished product that would not fall apart immediately and look like a Class B used item. It would require ZERO additional effort to sew on the velcro in the correct orientation just like any other coat, human and Dog , I have ever or bought. Not my dog's first coat, I wanted something waterproof and hopefully this product will at least keep my dog dry after I remodel it [or find something better] but I have NEVER bought another product from this brand.
