First of all I want to say that I bought these lights to decorate my home in Minnesota. I bought 3 strands of 100ft and 1 of 50ft and spliced them together. At 350 feet they get a little darker, but that's no big deal. The first thing that struck me when I opened the package was how cheap the wiring was. The lights are really designed for indoor and outdoor use, so I expected a little more cable volume. To my surprise, they survived their first winter in Minnesota well. The modes are pretty cool but some might say they flicker too much and flicker in some modes. I really appreciate the built in timer which saves me from buying a timer or smart socket. So far I'm giving them 4 stars, but let's see how they survive the second winter. Based on my wiring knowledge, I'll bet against it, but we'll see. They are a lot cheaper than other flashlights so I don't think you should expect such a reliable product. You get what you pay for!
