This works pretty well as long as you understand what you need to do.

Media could not be loaded. I live in an old building from 1925. I'm pretty sure these are the original windows as there is some distortion when looking through. These are single-chamber windows. We used to have window cleaners but a few years ago they did some damage to the exterior decoration of the roof and since then window cleaners are not allowed. The windows in my house have become very dirty because they can no longer clean them. I heard about these magnetic window cleaners and wanted to try them, but after trying to clean the first glass I found that the rag covering the outside of the glass gets dirty very quickly, literally after a few wipes. I had to keep bringing the fabric back and washing it many times to reuse it. So keep that in mind. At first I just sprayed Windex onto another cloth to wash away the dirt, but after a while I realized that regular soap and water would probably do the best job of removing most of the dirt. Dirt has been removed for a cleaner look. Once you feel like you've removed most of the dirt, I sprayed Windex directly on the outside of the window, then removed the cloth from the outer mag bar and simply used the mag bar squeegee to get rid of any streaks . Be patient and take your time when using this device. Remember that after just a few wipes, another rag will get dirty, and if you don't get it to clean, you'll only start smearing the dirt. Clean the fabric, reattach it to the crossbar and repeat the process until the outside is mostly clean. Then spray Windex onto the face fabric to "tune" the cleaning. Then, when you are confident that most of the dirt has been removed, spray Windex or window cleaner on the outside of the window and simply use the squeegee on the outside molding to remove any streaks. Once again, be patient and take your time with this device. I know it's a "panel" but I'm worth it.
