NOT FOR HACKING, but still a good rope
TL;DR Good buy, not to save you from falling but to prevent falling. Because it is a static rope, it is not intended for extreme climbing. It doesn't smell like climbing rope, you'll break your back if you fall off the wall. However, for simple things like climbing a tree or small wall you should be fine, but you're still going to hurt yourself with half a harness. I was able to use it to get my truck out of the mud by wrapping it around the hitch a few times to make it thick and it held up well.
