Expensive or what? Bigger than my camcorder, but it converts Full HD HDMI signals to 1080p USB3.0 webcam signals, which can then be used with OBS, for example. It doesn't drop frames and it also handles audio, but I use a separate USB mic. so this aspect is not important for me. It just works - simple and clear. Plug it directly into your computer and it will be recognized. We use it for Skype calls and it's rare to find anything video related that gets the job done without clutter, driver downloads, updates, etc. It's expensive for what it is, but it's a reliable device and a time saver compared to other solutions. We tried it, it more than paid for the cost. Probably the best gadget I've bought this year! If you are an AV engineer or do a lot of demos that require a monitor! Look no further! This is a necessary item!
