Don't worry about the hand tool
Bought as a cheap alternative to the cordless electric gun. Made in China and very bad. The dispenser control on the back does nothing; I had to flip the whole case it's in to get an adjustment. Just when I thought I'd dialed it, it fired a big ball, or continued working after the trigger was released, or both. There is no consistency of discharge from one sealing tube to the other. I threw it away and bit the bullet for a Makita cordless caulking gun that works like a dream.
