I don't see any competition in this price range. Mediapad has an outdated OS and no USB-C video output. After two years of using the 8" Lenovo Tab 4 Plus, I would like to highlight the screen size and sound quality. Other parameters differ insignificantly. Pros: First impressions: + optimal screen size for me (after 8") + image quality + speed and duration of work (enough for a working day) + great sound + low weight and dimensions for such a diagonal + possibility of wired (via adapter) connection: TV or monitor (even without switching to DEX mode); networks; keyboards, etc. + multi-window mode (DEX) + good oleophobic coating Has some cons: - uncomfortable to hold without a case: too thin case and too small bezels (nitpicking) - in the case is not very convenient access to the unlock button - not enough (for me) 64 GB of internal memory - expensive branded accessories - for some - the lack of a 3.5 mm headphone output (there is an adapter included) - lack of NFC
