I had a dark dark coffee stain the size of Australia (okay, a bit exaggerated) in my living room, a former teen hangout, playing the video games I discovered when our son went to college. I've been trying to work on it from time to time for eleven years. Nothing has ever done anything. I received this product because of a fresh coffee stain (from my husband's cup) on the floor and it worked fine. On a whim I tried Australia. It had to be treated again, but now there is only a very faint memory, and that's after 11 years of staining the carpet. One secret is to blot the stain, not rub it. Very very good product!
