Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ LG PuriCare Mini: Small Lightweight Ultra-Quiet Portable Air Purifier for Filtering Ultra-Fine Dust and Small Particles โ€“ Ideal for Home, Bedroom, Office, Airplane, Train, Car, or On-the-Go Use โ€“ Black (AP151MBA1) by Wendy Zhao

Revainrating 4 out of 5

**UPDATED A very good (expensive) air purifier with one major drawback

***UPDATE*** Filters seem to come and go both here and on the LG website. I highly recommend subscribing to the LG website to receive stock alerts...that's how I finally got them. Hope it improves. Updated rating to 4 stars...mainly because most others have either good stock or a generic/equivalent version. I got that with Pure Enrichment mini. Plus the air movement to noise ratio and I like the air quality gauge. The dual fan design is another big plus. Now my downvote and why this is likely coming back as I can't get any replies. WHERE ARE THE FILTERS? Yes, theoretically it's a 6 month filter... but that's a lot of money to spend on a heavy device that I can't find filters for. They switched from "coming soon" to "we don't know when/if we'll see them again". LG websiteโ€ฆ sold out. None of the other sites he points to as a provider also list them. If it's temporary, fine, but I don't need a paperweight because I can't find filters. I can buy four Pure Enrichment purifiers for the same price as this one and the filters are pretty easy to find. I tried calling LG support... and they get to Encompass (and they included the website address in the record which seems invalid) and Encompass (which claims to be their 'authorized parts supplier', who has NOTHING for this model) I have provided a filter part number compiled here by Revain and still nothing would not trust it.

Pros
  • Low noise (30dB in low mode) - take it to the office, library or other quiet place without disturbing others.
Cons
  • sad packaging
