Excellent product, many uses, but this!

I couldn't be happier with this product! I have a budget 3 year old laptop with the latest version of Windows 10. Although the laptop can display on two screens, asking about this laptop is too much to ask. With this adapter, plug and play, no drivers needed, bam, I got 1920x1080 on my 42" TV while the laptop itself was outputting 1920x1080 on my 22" monitor. Works with USB 2 or 3. The only difference I noticed is that with USB 3 the picture is smoother when dragging windows across the desktop, but during normal work in Word, Excel, Browser there is none at all Difference. I understand that TVs aren't as sharp and colors aren't as accurate as computer monitors, but I prefer a larger screen for general office work, and with this adapter it's much sharper than the original output from a laptop. Yes, I had to make some changes to the TV menu (use the TV remote to set the contrast to 25 percent, turn off the sharpness which makes the fonts easier to read, reduce the brightness to around 50%, reduce the color saturation to around 75 %). I also like that this product is great when you are away from the office or home and need to connect to another device. It comes with adapters to connect a regular analog cable, DVI or HDMI. Also, to my surprise, I was able to connect my HP Stream 7 Windows tablet to my TV using a simple male USB to micro USB adapter. , the picture is just as sharp, even the transfer of the screen from the tablet to the TV is supported. Buy this product, you will not be disappointed.

Pros
  • MULTIPLE DISPLAYS - Connect multiple USB 3.0 video adapters to your computer to expand your screen real estate with up to 6 additional 2048 x 1152 HDMI, DVI, or VGA displays (one 1080p display per adapter)
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
