I love these devices!

I have 4 because I like them a lot. They seem to work better on Windows 7 than on 10. The mouse and image lag seem to be slightly larger. but overall they are still great. I mainly use them for the monitors on my PC which have entertainment programs running in the background that I don't interact with much so I don't mind if the mouse lags. Somehow the sound and the picture always match, and that's the most important thing for me. I work pretty hard on 6 screens so it probably has something to…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Availability of updates

As a retailer, I use multiple monitors (6.24 inch monitors). I've used other external devices like this and they tend to lag and distort colors. drives you crazy and the color distortion just looks bad. This device costs a few euros more compared to others. I've looked at gaming/high-end graphics cards with multi-monitor capability, but it was easier for me to go that route. My computer has two native VGA ports and the rest of the displays use these devices via USB. They all look the same and…

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Sometimes works well with Windows 10

The device itself works well. However, like all other USB3 monitor solutions, this requires the installation of your favorite "Displaylink" driver. I only did this after creating a Windows 10 restore point in case the installation messed up my system in any way. After installing the Displaylink driver, an additional monitor that I tried to connect to my computer with this device via a USB 3.0 port worked fine, but my wireless internet connection stopped working. This device requires a graphics…

After 5 minutes I got the 3rd display working. Works perfectly.

My laptop has (of course) an integrated display and 1 HDMI output for a second display. I needed a third display. I had an extra LCD monitor, but my computer didn't have extra display ports. I only had 3 USB ports. I have purchased the USB 3.0 to HDMI/DVI/VGA Pluggable Video Graphics Adapter for multiple monitors. Download the drivers for Windows 10 from the website URL in the instructions. I connected the device to my USB port and connected the other end to my monitor with a DVI to DVI cable…

  • Special offer
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Bada bing, bada fixed!

Bought a new 15.6 inch laptop and added a large desktop monitor for CAD work, but the HDMI output was ghosting. Everything else worked great including the attached screen. When I brought it back to the Micro Center they offered to replace it. Well I've been through this before and heard all the horror stories about how they replaced the motherboard, wiped all your files, and you're stuck waiting six weeks to reload all my apps just for the annoying ghost screen. So I did a little research and…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some small things

Great product - computers and accessories

Overall a solid product. I use mine with a pluggable 7-port USB 3.0 hub. One monitor to HDMI laptop, two monitors to these adapters to the hub. Works great with very light CPU load on my i7 processor. All monitors work with a resolution of 1920x1080. When playing 1080p video, the quality is fine for a single video on a monitor connected to the adapter. The two videos are still okay, but sometimes they get a bit choppy. Also, the CPU usage increases to about 20%. Not necessarily the adapter's…

Pros
  • WIDE COMPATIBILITY - Works with any modern Windows laptop, desktop or tablet and most older Windows systems
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as it should. But potential driver issues

to import). A confusing term for laypeople is DisplayPort/DisplayLink. The specific product does not use a DisplayPORT (which looks like an HDMI connector) but uses a DisplayLINK USB graphics chip. Too bad they sound very similar. My situation: I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 14, which I like, but it has this horrible micro-HDMI port (commonly seen on smartphones for PC connections). It's a very thin connector and I've always found it interesting to use the USB 3.0 connector to connect to my monitor…

Pros
  • INCREASED PERFORMANCE - Maximize your productivity and workspace. With multiple displays, you can get more done in less time, especially for tasks that require working with multiple windows and tabs.
Cons
  • Some errors

Excellent product, many uses, but this!

I couldn't be happier with this product! I have a budget 3 year old laptop with the latest version of Windows 10. Although the laptop can display on two screens, asking about this laptop is too much to ask. With this adapter, plug and play, no drivers needed, bam, I got 1920x1080 on my 42" TV while the laptop itself was outputting 1920x1080 on my 22" monitor. Works with USB 2 or 3. The only difference I noticed is that with USB 3 the picture is smoother when dragging windows across the desktop,
