Shoutout to the Forge vendor for great customer service, especially Sophia! When these locks arrived I went to the Forge website and watched a video on how to set the combinations and found that one of the four was faulty. I logged onto the Forge website with my Revain order number and used the contact form to request a replacement lock. Sophia sent one and the package was apparently stolen from my porch after delivery! I informed Sophia that I hadn't received it and she immediately sent another one! I just got a second replacement and installed the combination and now I have four working locks. This is customer service now! Thank you Sofia! Thanks forge! I'm about to take a month's multi-flight trip and report back on how well these locks work. I'll be taking the precautions recommended by other reviewers and attaching the latch to my suitcase with a small piece of tape so it doesn't get lost if the TSA picks the lock and can't relock it. I will report here on the operation of the locks when I get back. Currently, locks are easy to lock and unlock, and when locked they don't want to be easily separated. **************** *****Edited 20170921 I just got back from my month long trip and these locks have worked flawlessly on countless uses. When I travel to third world countries I keep my bags locked when I'm not in the room. So I open and close these floodgates several times a day along the way. Also, I flew many domestic flights in Indonesia as well as several international flights and the gates didn't work. I used two suitcases and also took two extra locks with me in case the locks on the suitcases get lost or broken, but neither happened. In fact, I've never seen evidence my bags were searched, but that may be because I passed TSA pre-screening on that trip. I am very pleased with how these castles fared on this rigorous journey and would highly recommend them.
