I read several reviews on this product before buying it and to be honest decided not to either. except my girlfriend had glassware. She said that was the set she received. I decided to try them. Mine was well packaged, everything was safe and sound. I haven't had any problems with chips yet (about a week has passed). I only hand wash the lids, never in the dishwasher, and they fit securely. You will have to apply some pressure to open them, but this is to prevent leakage. So far so good, I'll update this in about 3 months. --- So it's been 3 months and they're holding up well. I am very careful with it and still only hand wash the lids. I was very satisfied and will buy it again and recommend it.
