I used these to replace the joysticks on my Xbox One Elite controller. Both joysticks fell off and I didn't want to pay $150 for a new controller. I'm not tech savvy when it comes to hardware repairs but my friend was a little more proficient with a soldering iron so I enlisted his help and together he and I were able to replace both joysticks. The first time I replaced it I might have made a mistake somewhere and they actually degraded my controller so I tried again and on the second try both my joysticks worked pretty well. Stick drift is gone now and my thumbsticks feel like new. However, I've noticed that one of the modules might have a touch issue, as it sometimes doesn't register left and right, up and down movements, so there's a slight delay before it actually registers a directional push on the joystick. it doesn't happen all the time but intermittently and it's not a big problem but I might consider replacing this module with the last good module that was in this set of four. But I will say if you are familiar with a few simple electronic tools then it is not that difficult to fix but with this you need to be careful and be willing to accept the fact that if you screw up somewhere you can have problems make things worse with your controller, not better. It's a risk you run when repairing hardware, and if you have a bad stick drift, you probably still feel like your controller is practically useless. They work on both elite and standard Xbox One controllers. However, I would recommend that you only buy a used or refurbished controller if you can afford it rather than swapping out the motors on a standard controller as you may be paying twenty bucks more and just don't bargain. with the repair process and have a good controller for immediate use. But if you have an elite controller, be sure to give it a try and see how things go. $10 is cheaper than $150, and even if you hire someone to fix it for you, it'll probably cost you $40-$60 and well worth paying, but you might not have to spend that much . I recommend having a soldering iron and some wick/wick removal material and a set of electronic screws (some people sell kits) to take apart and install the controller. Lots of great videos to help you get through.
