I was very concerned about the aesthetic and quality of this. Well, aesthetically it matched up great with my oak flooring and door, it wasn't too light and the coating gave it a deep richness. Quality is there.For what you're paying you get a very solid stand. The allen screws with it were pretty weak in the sense that my screw gun began to strip them, so I was forced to do them all by hand, which wasn't much of challenge (except for the middle shelf that you had to work around). Assembled in maybe 10 minutes.NOTE: If you are remotely handy, you can easily drill holes and use the screws to customize the shelf heights.
