Review on 🔧 Crown Automotive Shift Lever Bushing - Part Number 53004810 by Aaron Martin

Wow, I broke my linkage bushing when shifting into 4 Lo on a steep descent. No pleasure. So I found this replacement and ordered it. Found it too difficult to install and wondering if there is a YouTube video? Why, yes they do. After watching the video and realizing that I already had the bushing installed on the shaft (making installation difficult), I read the comments section and noticed that the bushing softened in boiling water. Well, stupid, I thought. I mean, how do I put a pot of boiling water under the jeep's already cramped floor? Then I thought it's just the heat, right? So I go under the jeep, armed with a hair dryer, and the bang is stroking, the installation was easy and quick! I should point out that I set the blow dryer on low and took my time slowly warming up the linkage and hub. Didn't want to melt it and had to start all over again.
