Do you know the difference: 304 vs. 316
These screws are made of 304 "stainless steel". I didn't know the difference before, but now I do. 316 contains molybdenum, "which significantly improves corrosion resistance, especially in high salt or high chloride environments." What you see will not be as shiny as the photo (they won't look like the stainless steel you're used to ). 304 is not suitable for my use, ie building next to the beach. The ones you want are (probably) just over twice the size.
