Exactly as described. Not the most durable case, but if you want to carry it in your pocket or backpack, it's more than enough. If you use a screen protector for your Surface, make sure you buy it with a small margin/gap (approx. 2mm) around the edges. It fits snugly and may not work well with the edge of the screen protector. The only thing I would like to improve is a better integration of the pen holder. Located on top of the case (to the left of the surface when used in landscape mode), it's simply an elastic band. But it works well with a firm grip so you don't have to worry about losing the stylus. It offers a fun, less serious look as I switch between this and the UAG case I also use.
