We bought this for a friend who has a 1 year old girl. Everyone else received books, clothes and small sensory toys. We came by BICYCLE! The baby obviously didn't understand at first, but after being pushed for several minutes, didn't want to get off. At first her feet didn't quite touch the ground, but after just 1 week she figured out how to push off without sitting on the seat. So there's room for growth over the next year or two. It hadn't been worn in a little over a week, was barely standing and was being coughed up around the house. Unbelievable. Now she terrorizes the dog and enjoys it. I'm not sure how long this toy will be loved, but it will probably last a while. It's just cool to see how someone who can barely walk can turn into a completely mobile person in such a short time. And the bike is very durable to ride. The beginning and end of another story at such a young age. Such a cool thing and well worth it. But remember we're just friends, parents might have different attitudes to all this mobility hahaha
