Extended deliberation on whether or not to buy. We looked other alternatives, but ultimately chose to stick with stokke. Purchased for a child that is 2.5 years old. The chair is quite comfortable, stable, and both the seat height and the footrest can be adjusted to suit your needs, so we are very pleased with it. Holds up under a significant amount of pressure. The youngster is able to sit with the adults at the table without any discomfort, and his legs are supported by the footrest rather than dangling freely in the air. He leaves his seat and independently climbs onto a chair. It's appealing to the kid!
