We have a Cal. King Bed and ordered the 35lb blanket. I run very hot and my wife runs cold. This blanket keeps us both very comfortable in bed all night regardless of the time of year. The beads are silent and stay in their sown in pockets so they do not clump up in one spot causing uneven weighting. The quality is surprisingly nice. We have only slept with the cool side down and have never needed to use the warmer side. We have 3 cats and they have not damaged it in any way. I was skeptical of the weighted aspect as I do not like to be confined and get claustrophobic, but it does not feel restrictive at all. It is actually a very soothing feeling that I now look forward to every night. I have recommended this to many family members.
