
The easiest way to install them, like I did on my Mazda Speed3, is to just skip the plastic caps and just rip off the single rubber cleaning element, sometimes half as much when you replace it, but then PULL the bottom out. Then simply cut the appropriate length to fit your old strip, insert it straight in from the bottom, and then slide it back about half an inch to secure it so it doesn't come out. If you take the scissors with you in the car, you can replace each insert in less than a minute. No fiddling, no trying to remove or replace the wiper caps at the end.
