I've tried everything to make them work properly. The pepper seems fine, but the salt grinder isn't working well. Salt only has two grinds. Big chunks come out or nothing. The salt doesn't seem to grind into small grains and I adjusted the tip in all directions. If the setting is too low, no salt will come out. If you raise it higher, large chunks of salt the size of a peppercorn will come out. No idea why that's only a problem with salt, because the pepper mill isn't a problem. I've even tried taking out the salt, chopping up the smaller pieces of salt and putting them back, but it still comes out in big chunks or nothing at all. We will try another brand.
