My father has Alzheimer's and couldn't turn a meat grinder. I don't like pepper that's already ground, but freshly ground is better for you. All you do is flip it over like an old-fashioned salt and pepper shaker! The only thing I would like to see is that the pepper is a bit natural and there is no adjustment left. I love pepper so it's perfect for me but other people don't need as much pepper. We love him and he gave me ground salt and pepper and dad can just use it like his old shakers!

I've tried everything to make them work properly. The pepper seems fine, but the salt grinder isn't working well. Salt only has two grinds. Big chunks come out or nothing. The salt doesn't seem to grind into small grains and I adjusted the tip in all directions. If the setting is too low, no salt will come out. I recently bought coarse sea salt but found I don't have a grinder! So I got them and so far I like them. They look stylish and high-tech. You grind the salt coarsely but fine enough for normal cooking. I have had this product for a week now. It takes a lot of batteries, but as long as they last a while I'm fine with that. Second use of one I filled with pepper blocked and the pepper didn't come out. I took out the batteries and banged the grinder on the counter, refueled and no problems since. They seem to work well, the blue light is nice, doesn't really add any value, just looks cool. My Response I am not considering long-term use below 60 days for 2 people. The salt mill spattered several times and died out. I put new batteries in and also tested with a fluke meter.
