I have had this product for a week now. It takes a lot of batteries, but as long as they last a while I'm fine with that. Second use of one I filled with pepper blocked and the pepper didn't come out. I took out the batteries and banged the grinder on the counter, refueled and no problems since. They seem to work well, the blue light is nice, doesn't really add any value, just looks cool. My only complaint so far is that when you use the salt grinder, an excess of unused salt can be on top and then dump it into your food as you use it. There seems to be a lot more salt than pepper, so beware. I think you could just pour it in your hand and use what you want from it. 1 week of use again, the pepper is locked in once, and the salt can come out easier than the pepper, and still a 9 out of 10 (FYI I never give perfect scores).
