Review on Cricut Paper Lace Cartridge: Effortlessly Create Exquisite Lace Designs by Michelle Langley

Difficult! in Scrapbooking & Stamping

This seems to be one of the most robust Cricut cartridges. to put it mildly! The instructions are also a bit complicated and incomprehensible. This requires "a lot" of practice. I haven't used it yet. I'm still trying to figure out the instructions and dimensions for this one. I'll post an update when I get a chance. This one doesn't look as interesting as I thought, but I'll be patient and try everything on the cartridge. I try to fit as many sizes and pattern sizes in my notebook as possible because I have "many" sizing issues on these machines. I have 2 of these and very often they come out the wrong size. no matter what size I program in the machine. for example. I made monograms and programmed a letter to be greater than 3. It came out larger than expected and when I programmed the other two letters they came out too small. although I programmed them just an inch smaller than the larger one. It was a lot of trial and error, and in my experience it always will be. I would love to have one of the cake decorating machines but I won't have as big a waist as the 2 I've already made! The DVD that comes with the machines is not enough to teach them how to use the machine properly, how to use the machine to its full potential. All in all, it's a fun car, but it makes mistakes. Believe it or not, it's not always "operator error"! Provo helps in a way. Thanks very much! I hope to use this "Paper Point" program for the many different projects I have!
